The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by 598% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

South Korea (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and Hong Kong SAR (X tons) were the main destinations of shaving preparations exports from Singapore, together comprising 47% of total exports. Australia, Bangladesh, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United States, Japan, Vietnam, the Netherlands and the Philippines lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 46%.

Imports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, shaving preparations imports totaled $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a pronounced contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 70%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
