Austria (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) were the main destinations of ceramic statuette exports from Slovakia, together comprising 65% of total exports. Poland, Romania, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 32%.

Overall, imports continue to indicate perceptible growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 77% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, ceramic statuette imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, ceramic statuette import price increased by +71.6% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 34% against the previous year.
