The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 135%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then dropped slightly in the following year.

In 2022, Hungary (X tons) constituted the largest cherry supplier to Slovakia, with a 69% share of total imports. Moreover, cherry imports from Hungary exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Spain (X tons), fourfold.
