The average measuring instrument export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, reducing by -44.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a dramatic shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 29% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Australia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Imports into Slovakia

In 2021, measuring instrument imports into Slovakia shrank sharply to X units, declining by -45.1% compared with 2020. In general, imports saw a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 89%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
