Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 41%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In value terms, wood kitchenware and tableware imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports posted buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 40% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

The Czech Republic (X tons), Germany (X tons) and China (X tons) were the main suppliers of wood kitchenware and tableware imports to Slovakia, together accounting for 71% of total imports.
