The Netherlands, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 17%.

Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 41% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, inflator system airbag imports contracted notably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 39% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
