Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 37% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, pasta products imports amounted to $X in 2022. In general, imports saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 57%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Italy (X tons) constituted the largest pasta products supplier to Slovenia, accounting for a 33% share of total imports. Moreover, pasta products imports from Italy exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Austria (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was held by Hungary (X tons), with a 14% share.
