The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -2.9% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 80% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) were the main suppliers of imports of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal to Slovenia, together accounting for 73% of total imports. Belgium, Croatia, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria and France lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 25%.
