From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Croatia stood at +24.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Hungary (+263.6% per year) and Slovakia (0.0% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average preserved sweet corn export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -1.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Montenegro ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Montenegro (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Slovenia
In 2022, approx. X tons of sweet corn prepared or preserved were imported into Slovenia; waning by -5.5% on 2021. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, Hungary ($X) constituted the largest supplier of sweet corn prepared or preserved to Slovenia, comprising 51% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 19% share of total imports. It was followed by France, with an 8.8% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from Hungary stood at +6.2%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (-3.1% per year) and France (+28.5% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the average preserved sweet corn import price amounted to $X per ton, growing by 2.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
