Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a CAGR of +29.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average lamp plastic parts export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, reducing by -44.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average export price increased by 33%. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Zambia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Lesotho ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, supplies from abroad of plastic parts for lamps and lighting fittings was finally on the rise to reach X tons after two years of decline. In general, imports, however, saw a abrupt decline.
