After three years of decline, overseas purchases of radio navigational aid apparatus increased by 13% to X kg in 2021. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a dramatic contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 93% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, radio navigation apparatus imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
