In value terms, fromwork exports declined to $X in 2022. Overall, exports saw a mild expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 104%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Namibia (X tons) was the main destination for fromwork exports from South Africa, accounting for a 42% share of total exports. Moreover, fromwork exports to Namibia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Kenya (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Botswana (X tons), with an 11% share.
