Swaziland (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and Zambia (X tons) were the main suppliers of candy, sweets, and nonchocolate confectionery imports to South Africa, with a combined 64% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +28.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Swaziland ($X) constituted the largest supplier of candies, sweets, and nonchocolate confectionery to South Africa, comprising 42% of total imports.
