In value terms, Indonesia ($X) remains the largest abrasives supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 62% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Malaysia ($X), with a 22% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Indonesia totaled +10.6%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Malaysia (+17.2% per year) and Singapore (+2.2% per year).

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, picking up by 7.9% against the previous year. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per ton), while Malaysia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
