In value terms, the largest ammonium chloride supplying countries in South-Eastern Asia were Vietnam ($X), Singapore ($X) and Indonesia ($X), with a combined 89% share of total exports.

Among the main exporting countries, Indonesia, with a CAGR of +110.1%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, jumping by 31% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the export price increased by 37% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Ammonium chloride imports skyrocketed to X tons in 2021, with an increase of 42% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports enjoyed a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 149% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, ammonium chloride imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a strong expansion. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Import Prices by Country

The import price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, increasing by 30% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 41% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in years to come.
