In 2022, overseas shipments of butter and ghee increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second consecutive year after seven years of decline. Overall, exports, however, recorded a pronounced slump. Singapore (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Thailand (X%). The following exporters - Vietnam (X tons), Indonesia (X tons) and the Philippines (X tons) - each accounted for a X% share of total exports.

Exports from Malaysia increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, the Philippines (X%), Vietnam (X%) and Thailand (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022.
