The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 23% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, Cambodia ($X), Singapore ($X) and Thailand ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, with a combined 79% share of total imports.

In terms of the main importing countries, Thailand, with a CAGR of +16.6%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per unit in 2022, growing by 1.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 21%. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
