Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a precipitous curtailment. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Indonesia was the major exporter of cyclanes, cyclenes and cycloterpenes (excluding cyclohexane) in South-Eastern Asia, with the volume of exports recording X tons, which was approx. 87% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Singapore (X tons), making up a 10% share of total exports. Thailand (X tons) held a little share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to cyclanes, cyclenes and cycloterpenes exports from Indonesia stood at -18.8%. Thailand experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Singapore (-39.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, picking up by 15% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed strong growth. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
