Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, the largest dairy machinery importing markets in South-Eastern Asia were Indonesia ($X), Malaysia ($X) and Vietnam ($X), with a combined 83% share of total imports.

In terms of the main importing countries, Malaysia, with a CAGR of +13.0%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, picking up by 11% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a mild decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the import price increased by 15%.
