In value terms, Indonesia ($X) remains the largest dissolving grade wood pulp supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 67% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Lao People's Democratic Republic ($X), with a 13% share of total exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with a 12% share.

In Indonesia, dissolving grade wood pulp exports increased at an average annual rate of +107.6% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Lao People's Democratic Republic (+34.4% per year) and Malaysia (+31.1% per year).
