In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the largest dog and cat food supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 93% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with a 4.4% share of total exports.
In Thailand, dog and cat food exports expanded at an average annual rate of +10.5% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Vietnam (+37.2% per year) and Cambodia (+26.4% per year).

In value terms, the largest dog and cat food importing markets in South-Eastern Asia were the Philippines ($X), Indonesia ($X) and Malaysia ($X), with a combined 69% share of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, the Philippines, with a CAGR of +28.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
