Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of +92.8% from 2012-2021. Indonesia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Singapore (-8.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of the Philippines increased by +21 percentage points. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest drawn glass and blown glass supplying countries in South-Eastern Asia were the Philippines ($X), Thailand ($X) and Indonesia ($X), together comprising 96% of total exports.

Overall, imports, however, faced a abrupt descent. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, Malaysia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported drawn glass and blown glass in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 31% of total imports.
