Gas supply meter imports skyrocketed to X units in 2021, picking up by 25% on 2020. Total imports indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +48.1% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 113%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Indonesia (X units) and Singapore (X units) prevails in imports structure, together creating 82% of total imports. Vietnam (X units) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Malaysia (X units). All these countries together held approx. 13% share of total imports.
