From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Singapore (X tons) and Thailand (X tons) prevails in exports structure, together committing 78% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Malaysia (X tons), mixing up a 9.7% share of total exports. The following exporters - Vietnam (X tons), Indonesia (X tons) and Myanmar (X tons) - together made up 12% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the leading exporting countries, was attained by Vietnam (with a CAGR of +36.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Singapore ($X) remains the largest grape supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 65% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Thailand ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with a 9.7% share.
In Singapore, grape exports contracted by an average annual rate of -3.5% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Thailand (+23.2% per year) and Malaysia (-4.5% per year).

In 2022, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per ton, with an increase of 18% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while Myanmar ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, grape imports in South-Eastern Asia skyrocketed to X tons, growing by 20% on the previous year's figure. Total imports indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -9.4% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 31%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

The countries with the highest levels of grape imports in 2022 were Thailand (X tons), Indonesia (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons), together resulting at 76% of total import. The Philippines (X tons) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Malaysia (X tons). All these countries together held near 20% share of total imports. Singapore (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In value terms, Indonesia ($X), Vietnam ($X) and Thailand ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, with a combined 75% share of total imports. The Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.
In terms of the main importing countries, the Philippines, with a CAGR of +18.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the import price increased by 13%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
