The Southeast Asian headphone market shrank dramatically to $X in 2022, which is down by -20.6% against the previous year. Overall, consumption, however, posted tangible growth. Over the period under review, the market attained the maximum level at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

Vietnam prevails in exports structure, recording X units, which was approx. 84% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Malaysia (X units), committing a 5.9% share of total exports. Singapore (X units), Myanmar (X units) and Thailand (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to headphone exports from Vietnam stood at +32.8%. At the same time, Myanmar (+121.3%), Malaysia (+16.5%), Thailand (+6.1%) and Singapore (+4.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. In 2022, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, falling by -53.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a deep setback. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
