Thailand, with a CAGR of +10.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In 2021, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, declining by -39.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 91%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per unit), while Singapore ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Motorised invalid carriage imports soared to X units in 2021, growing by 73% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports saw a strong increase. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, motorised invalid carriage imports soared to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Singapore (X units), distantly followed by the Philippines (X units), Malaysia (X units), Indonesia (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the key importers of invalid carriages motorised or mechanically propelled, together making up 95% of total imports. Vietnam (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the import price increased by 31%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($X per unit), while the Philippines ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
