By contrast, Singapore (-4.1%), Thailand (-10.0%) and Vietnam (-10.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Malaysia and Indonesia increased by +29 and +4.8 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Malaysia ($X) remains the largest line telephone supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Vietnam ($X), with a 21% share of total exports. It was followed by Singapore, with an 8.4% share.
In Malaysia, line telephone exports decreased by an average annual rate of -1.2% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (-12.9% per year) and Singapore (-6.7% per year).
