In value terms, Singapore ($X) remains the largest feedstuff preparing machinery supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 60% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with a 21% share of total exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with a 15% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Singapore stood at +3.1%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (+7.2% per year) and Malaysia (+6.0% per year).

In 2021, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, picking up by 5.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, overseas purchases of machinery for preparing animal feedstuffs were finally on the rise to reach X units after two years of decline. Total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.4% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, feedstuff preparing machinery imports surged to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +7.9% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2020, and then reduced in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($X per unit), while Thailand ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
