Singapore was the major exporter of other aromatic monoamines and their derivatives, salts thereof in South-Eastern Asia, with the volume of exports finishing at X tons, which was near 79% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by the Philippines (X tons), generating a 15% share of total exports. Thailand (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Singapore experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of other aromatic monoamines and their derivatives, salts thereof. At the same time, the Philippines (+148.1%) and Thailand (+44.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of +148.1% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Indonesia (-19.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In Singapore, aromatic monoamines exports expanded at an average annual rate of +37.8% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Philippines (+150.0% per year) and Thailand (+39.9% per year).

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, reducing by -27% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 127% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In value terms, aromatic monoamines imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 91% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Singapore (X tons) was the key importer of other aromatic monoamines and their derivatives, salts thereof, achieving 74% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Thailand (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons), together creating a 21% share of total imports. Vietnam (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.

The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a 10% share of total imports. It was followed by Indonesia, with an 8.5% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Singapore totaled +22.0%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Thailand (+8.2% per year) and Indonesia (+5.0% per year).
