The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 131% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Thailand was the main exporting country with an export of around X units, which resulted at 70% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the Philippines (X units), mixing up a 26% share of total exports. The following exporters - Vietnam (X units) and Singapore (X units) - each accounted for a 3.2% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to photo camera exports from Thailand stood at +1.7%. At the same time, Vietnam (+46.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. In terms of the main exporting countries, Vietnam, with a CAGR of +36.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per unit in 2022, leveling off at the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the export price increased by 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Total imports indicated a tangible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +88.0% against 2019 indices. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
