In value terms, Thailand ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported plastic lavatory seats and covers in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 48% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Vietnam ($X), with a 17% share of total imports. It was followed by Indonesia, with a 14% share.

In Thailand, plastic lavatory seat imports increased at an average annual rate of +8.7% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Vietnam (+13.4% per year) and Indonesia (+3.0% per year).
