The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 34%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Total imports indicated prominent growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.5% over the last nine years. In 2021, Vietnam (X tons), distantly followed by Thailand (X tons), the Philippines (X tons), Malaysia (X tons), Singapore (X tons), Indonesia (X tons) and Brunei Darussalam (X tons) represented the major importers of prepared mustard, together comprising 96% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Brunei Darussalam (with a CAGR of +33.6%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest prepared mustard importing markets in South-Eastern Asia were Vietnam ($X), Thailand ($X) and Malaysia ($X), with a combined 56% share of total imports.
