Indonesia (X units) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Cambodia (X units). All these countries together held near 15% share of total exports. The Philippines (X units) held a minor share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Cambodia (with a CAGR of +77.2%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Vietnam ($X), Malaysia ($X) and Thailand ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 74% share of total exports. These countries were followed by the Philippines, Cambodia and Indonesia, which together accounted for a further 24%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Cambodia, with a CAGR of +74.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, declining by -23.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the export price increased by 41%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2020, and then contracted notably in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($X per unit), while Indonesia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Among the main importing countries, Vietnam, with a CAGR of +24.0%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
