By contrast, Singapore (-6.1%), Vietnam (-6.8%), the Philippines (-7.9%) and Malaysia (-12.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Thailand (+55 p.p.) and Indonesia (+4.8 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia saw its share reduced by -6.9%, -9.2%, -17% and -26.9% from 2012 to 2021, respectively.

In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the largest stone sawing machine supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 70% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Vietnam ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Singapore, with a 6.6% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Thailand stood at +21.2%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Vietnam (-2.0% per year) and Singapore (-5.0% per year).
