The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest toothed wheels, chain sprockets and other transmission elements supplying countries in South-Eastern Asia were Singapore ($X), Thailand ($X) and Vietnam ($X), together accounting for 71% of total exports. These countries were followed by Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, which together accounted for a further 29%.

The Philippines, with a CAGR of +18.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The second position in the ranking was held by Singapore ($X), with a 15% share of total imports. It was followed by Malaysia, with an 11% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Thailand amounted to +2.0%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Singapore (+4.8% per year) and Malaysia (+3.9% per year).
