At the same time, Malaysia (+9.9%), the Philippines (+9.0%) and Vietnam (+6.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. By contrast, Indonesia (-11.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Singapore amounted to +30.7%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Vietnam (+39.6% per year) and the Philippines (+24.8% per year).

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 1.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price posted buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the export price increased by 96%. The level of export peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

In Singapore, turbo-jet (over X kn) imports expanded at an average annual rate of +37.4% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Thailand (+29.8% per year) and Brunei Darussalam (-6.6% per year).
