In 2021, the Southeast Asian winche and capstan market was finally on the rise to reach $X for the first time since 2015, thus ending a five-year declining trend. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Singapore totaled -11.7%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Malaysia (-3.0% per year) and Thailand (+6.6% per year).

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, shrinking by -12.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, enjoyed a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 296% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. The import price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, declining by -7% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a perceptible curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
