In value terms, the largest building blocks and bricks of cement, concrete or artificial stone importing markets in Southern Asia were Maldives ($X), India ($X) and Bangladesh ($X), together accounting for 71% of total imports. Nepal, Bhutan and Afghanistan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 12%.
Nepal, with a CAGR of +47.0%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the import price increased by 28%.
