In value terms, the largest wood box and cable drum importing markets in Southern Asia were India ($X), Sri Lanka ($X) and Bangladesh ($X), with a combined 90% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Maldives, which accounted for a further 2%.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per unit), while Sri Lanka ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
