Exports in Southern Asia

In 2022, the amount of cream fresh exported in Southern Asia fell significantly to X tons, declining by -22.2% against the previous year's figure. In general, exports, however, posted prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 255%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cream fresh exports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 198% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, cream fresh imports in Southern Asia surged to X tons, picking up by 20% against the previous year's figure. Overall, imports showed a strong increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 82%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, cream fresh imports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a resilient increase. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
