In value terms, India ($X) remains the largest direction finding compass supplier in Southern Asia, comprising 93% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Pakistan ($X), with a 5.4% share of total exports. It was followed by Sri Lanka, with a 0.6% share.

In India, direction finding compass exports expanded at an average annual rate of +14.2% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Pakistan (+20.9% per year) and Sri Lanka (+122.9% per year).
