From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to plastic tableware and kitchenware imports into India stood at +4.9%. At the same time, Bangladesh (+10.9%), Maldives (+10.3%) and Nepal (+5.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. The second position in the ranking was held by Bangladesh ($X), with a 14% share of total imports. It was followed by Maldives, with a 7.9% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in India totaled +4.9%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Bangladesh (+21.8% per year) and Maldives (+10.2% per year).
