India dominates imports structure, recording X units, which was near 88% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Nepal (X units), achieving a 7.7% share of total imports. Sri Lanka (X units) held a relatively small share of total imports.
India experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of drilling or morticing machines. At the same time, Nepal (+51.3%) and Sri Lanka (+13.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Nepal emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Southern Asia, with a CAGR of +51.3% from 2012-2021.
