The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 149%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, hydraulic press imports dropped markedly to $X in 2022. The second position in the ranking was taken by Pakistan ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by Bangladesh, with a 4.2% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in India stood at -1.1%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Pakistan (+18.3% per year) and Bangladesh (+11.7% per year).

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Pakistan ($X per unit), while Nepal ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Pakistan (+18.4%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
