India (X units) and Bangladesh (X units) were the key exporters of iron or steel gas domestic appliances in 2022, recording near 49% and 34% of total exports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Sri Lanka (X units), generating a 16% share of total exports.

The volume of import peaked at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

Nepal (X units) and India (X units) represented roughly 72% of total imports in 2022. Afghanistan (X units) held an 11% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Sri Lanka (7%) and Bangladesh (4.9%). Pakistan (X units) took a little share of total imports.
