Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
In 2022, India (X tons) represented the major exporter of nuts, mixing up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Sri Lanka (X tons) and Afghanistan (X tons), together committing a X% share of total exports. Nepal (X tons) and Bangladesh (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to nuts exports from India stood at X%. At the same time, Sri Lanka (X%) and Afghanistan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Sri Lanka emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Southern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2017 indices. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

India prevails in imports structure, resulting at X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2022. Bangladesh (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Imports into India increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Bangladesh (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Bangladesh emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Southern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. From 2012 to 2022, the share of India increased by X percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, India ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported nuts in Southern Asia, comprising X% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Bangladesh ($X), with a X% share of total imports.
