Other Papers Packaging Market Size in Southern Asia

The South Asian other papers packaging market rose modestly to $X in 2022, growing by 4.4% against the previous year. The total consumption indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last decade. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 60%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, other papers packaging imports stood at $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 70% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, India (X tons) was the main importer of other papers packaging, constituting 48% of total imports. Pakistan (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Bangladesh (X tons) and Sri Lanka (X tons). All these countries together held near 50% share of total imports.
