In 2022, the export price in Southern Asia amounted to $X per litre, increasing by 3% against the previous year. Export price indicated a tangible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The volume of import peaked at X litres in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, sparkling wine imports reached $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Maldives, with a CAGR of +6.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Southern Asia amounted to $X per litre, surging by 7.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.7%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the import price increased by 15%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per litre. From 2020 to 2022, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
