In value terms, India ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported spectacles and goggles in Southern Asia, comprising 59% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Sri Lanka ($X), with an 8% share of total imports. It was followed by Pakistan, with a 6.6% share.
In India, spectacles and goggles imports declined by an average annual rate of -9.8% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Sri Lanka (+17.4% per year) and Pakistan (+1.6% per year).
