In value terms, Afghanistan ($X) remains the largest tanned or dressed furskins supplier in Southern Asia, comprising 41% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Pakistan ($X), with a 19% share of total exports. It was followed by Bangladesh, with an 18% share.

In Afghanistan, tanned or dressed furskins exports plunged by an average annual rate of -3.8% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Pakistan (-19.6% per year) and Bangladesh (+14.2% per year).
